Saturday at Museum Goulandri with Ethniki Insurance
Four felt creatures.
Huggable.
Instantly loved by Greek kids and adults who understood what they were actually for. Not branded mascots, but something real enough to touch, to trust, to learn from.
The monster work was half the job. The other half? We rebuilt the Goulandris Museum from scratch. Every wall. Every corner. Every light condition. Photorealistic down to the obsessive detail.
Then we let these creatures loose in it, and they moved as they belonged there.
Not composited, not pasted.
Living in an actual space.
That's the craft that matters.
Kids recognise the museum.
They want to go there. The monsters aren't selling the space, they're inhabiting it so naturally that the Institution stops feeling like an institution.
It feels like home. Like a place where weird, soft creatures just happen to exist and teach you something along the way.
Greece didn't just watch them. They kept them. Turned them into something bigger than a campaign.
That's not marketing.
That's a culture shift.
