At some point, our team started getting nightmares of chocolate simulations from this ad. Think of “The Shining” but with chocolate ‘blood’. Our wacoms definitely saw the worst of us as we designed everything from scratch to make CGI chocolate look delicious and real.&nbsp;

CELEBRATING CDM UPLIFT

The whole team has done it again! Produced a full CGI commercial for LAMAR that pays homage to their very first commercial, directed by yours truly ten years ago by incorporating multiple elements from the original 2013 copy in the 2023 commercial. The challenging part was matching the tempo of a fast-paced jingle describing the brand’s daily routine in three sets, all within their beloved farm. Our inspiration mainly came from ceramic tableware and Victorian dollhouse toys to give that clean, fun yet prestigious look and feel. As always, we had to add our easter egg signature: planting our team members' names somewhere there.&nbsp;

Hey, rebels! Let me tell you a little story about a job that really hit all the right keys back in 2015. We were working on a new branding for a music channel, and, boy oh boy, did it feel like a dream come true! As a die-hard fans of MTV, this was our chance to shine. We started with the sketching phase, and the client was a music producer known for scouting new talents. Talk about doubling the excitement! We were young and eager to deliver something fresh and cutting-edge. But then, surprise surprise, the guy started getting cold feet. He felt like our vision was too intimidating for the masses in Egypt. He thought we were too advanced for the local taste. Well, you know what I say to that? Rebel yell, baby! We don't back down from a challenge. We don't settle for mediocrity. We push the boundaries and we make things happen. Sure, it's not always easy. Sometimes, you have to fight tooth and nail for your vision. But that's what makes it all the more satisfying when you finally see it come to life. So to all you rebels out there, don't let anyone tell you that your ideas are too big, too bold, or too fresh. Keep pushing, keep fighting, and keep living that rebel lifestyle. Because when you do, you'll make magic happen… even if the client didn't answer your finance call collecting the paychecks. Rock on, rebels!
